September 17	7pm, Regency Furniture Stadium, home of the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs	CSM Birthday Bash at Regency Furniture Stadium CSM has partnered with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs to host our 50th Birthday Bash on September 17 at the stadium. All CSM staff, faculty, students, and friends are encouraged to come out for the 7:05 p.m. game as the Blue Crabs take on the Bridgeport Bluefish. For discount tickets, visit http://www.somdbluecrabs.com/ and use the discount code “HAWK” when purchasing tickets for the September 17 game. With the promo code, seats will be $10 instead of the normal $13 ticket price. Watch highlight video from the event on the Blue Crabs Web site.
September 17	La Plata, Leonardtown, and Prince Frederick Campuses	Time Capsule Dedication
September 18	7pm, La Plata Campus	Basketball: Students vs. Faculty/Staff - CANCELLED Remember when friendly competitions between CSM students and faculty/staff were a regular occurrence on campus? As part of CSM’s 50th celebration, the La Plata Student Life and Athletics Department is bringing the tradition back.
November 7	5:30pm, Leonardtown Campus	Spirit Walk “Spirit Walk” and activity night with food, games, guest speakers and costumed storytellers telling about the ghosts haunting Leonardtown and the history of the Leonardtown Campus. Activities and games begin at 5:30 p.m. and the lecturer/storytellers begin at 6:30 p.m. Free.
