Cooperative Education is both a credit-earning academic course and a job. For some programs Co-op is a required course and for other programs, it is an elective.

The Value
Not only do you earn credits with Cooperative Education, but co-op is real job experience that you can use to build your network and your résumé. Co-op can be either a paid or volunteer experience. Some students working in their chosen field decide to co-op to earn credit for the work they are already doing. The real value of co-op is the learning and job experience you gain.
