March 5 - Summer I 2013 Registration for Returning Students Begins
April 1 - Summer I & II 2013 Registration for New Students Begins
April 22 - Fall 2013 Priority Registration for CSM Students with 45+ credits
April 23 - Fall 2013 Priority Registration for CSM Students with 30+ credits
April 24 - Fall 2013 Priority Registration for CSM Students with 15+ credits
April 25 - Fall 2013 Priority Registration for CSM Students with 1+ credits
May 7 - Payment due in full for Summer I & Summer II sessions
May 20 - Summer I 2013 Semester begins
June 17 - Last Day to Audit or Withdraw from a Summer I Session Class
July 9 - Summer I 2013 Session ends
July 10 - Summer II 2013 Session begins
August 2 - Last Day to Audit or Withdraw from a Summer II Session Class
August 27 - Summer II 2013 Session ends
September 3 - Classes begin for Fall 2013 Session and Fall Mini-session I
September 9 - Last day to add a class for full semester classes
October 10 - Last Day to Audit or Withdraw from a minisession I class
October 21 - Classes end for Fall 2013 Mini-session I
October 24 - Classes begin for Fall 2013 Mini-session II
November 8 - Last Day to Audit or Withdraw from a full term fall semester class
December 2 - Last Day to Audit or Withdraw from a minisession II class
December 16 - Classes end for Fall 2013 Session and Fall Mini-session II

How to Register

Choose from three convenient ways to register:

• Online through CSM's Online Services
• At a StartSmart Orientation
• On-site at any of the four CSM campuses

Before registration, students should:

• Obtain or view a schedule of classes
• Prepare a tentative schedule, including alternate classes in the event some are closed
• Get the latest information about course availability using Online Services “Search for Sections.”
• Make an appointment with an academic advisor if:
  • you are a new student;
  • you are planning to transfer;
  • you have any questions
  • you have not completed a Program Planning Sheet

Payment Due at Registration

At the time of registration, you will be required to select one of the following payment options.

1. Pay 20% Down - If you register during the advance registration period.
2. Enroll in the CSM Tuition Payment Plan - Students taking six or more credits are eligible.
3. Submit a CSM Financial Assistance form or tuition assistance paperwork.
4. Pay in Full.
