Global Initiatives
CSM is developing a global education program that is community
based. An increase in international interests and globalization is being
exhibited across CSM's campuses. More international students, more
internationalizing of the curriculum, and more global opportunities for travel
study abroad courses have meant CSM is able to offer its students and community
a diverse culture with an emphasis on learning and experiencing other areas of
the world.
CSM has been increasingly involved in international activities
and events the past several years. The college serves a growing number of
international students, and faculty have participated in conferences and
training in Russia, Tonga, Australia, England, South Africa, Mexico, and
Vietnam. CSM has also hosted visitors from Estonia, Belgium, Vietnam, Japan and
China.
