This certificate prepares students for entry-level positions in the rapidly expanding field of information technology—relating to customer service representatives, technical support representatives, help desk technicians, and PC support specialists.

Graduates will have the competency and expertise to: analyze end user computing problems and determine appropriate action; communicate effectively with end users; provide support to end users of standard and customized application software; record and report information significant to the job and end user problem resolution; and identify required resources to maintain and advance technical skills as information technology changes.

The courses in this certificate are applicable to the Information Services Technology Certificate and AAS degree.
