Certified Apartment Maintenance Technicians are customer service representatives with the technical skills to maintain an operational environment for occupants. Possessing in many skills, the Certified Apartment Maintenance Technicians maintain, repair, or replace HVAC equipment, appliances, electrical lights and devices, plumbing systems, and interiors and exteriors of buildings.

Safe livable facilities are a concern for tenants and property managers. The Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for meeting and exceeding the expectations of all stakeholders by ensuring the apartment is safely and functionally efficient.
Upon completion of course, students will sit for their Apartment Maintenance Technician certification exam.
