Professor, Fine Arts and Humanities Department
Barbara Stephanic has an extensive background in art history and has given numerous lectures in the Metro area. She has given presentations at Mattawoman Creek Art Center, the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. and at Northern Virginia Community College. Additionally, she has given lectures at CSM's Fine Art Gallery. She was an adjunct professor at American University and at Parsons School of Design and Smithsonian Institution, and an art history lecturer at Georgetown University.
Ms. Stephanic received her master's degree in History of Art from George Washington University and her Ph.D. in American Studies (concentration in American Art) from the University of Maryland.
