Dealing with RealPlayer Not Working

Real Player version 9.x and 10.x
 

If you get the following error when trying to get to a Real Media video...

...then open RealPlayer and pull down "Tools" to "Preferences..."

Then look for the "Content" Category, and expand that "+" so you can click on "Media Types."

Once the Media Types window is open, click on "Advanced"...

...Then scroll down to "Real-Time Streaming Media". Make sure the item is checked. Then click the "OK" button.

Now return to your browser and try again, the video should work.
