CSM's Latin Ensemble Concert Schedule
The ensemble will perform in the spring 2009 on April 24 at 8:00 p.m. to kick-off the annual Salsa Festival. Annual Salsa Festival This years salsa Festival will kick-off with CSM's very own Latin Ensemble on April 24. April 25th will feature workshops during the day and a guest band on stage at 8:00 p.m. that evening. Workshops will be free and both concerts on the 24th and 25th will each cost $5.00. CSM'S Annual Jazz Festival CSM will host it's annual jazz festival May 1 and 2, 2009. May 1st will feature a clinic for local school jazz bands during the day. That night will kick-off with a concert featuring a jazz ensemble. May 2nd will feature a jazz improv at 2:00 p.m. and round off the weekends events with an 8:00 p.m. concert featuring CSM's own Sold Brass Jazz Ensemble and a special guest. Tickets to each concert will be $5 all ages.
CSM's Choral Spring Concert Under the new direction of Leroy Pressley, the CSM Chamber Singers and Concert Choirs will perform their spring concert at the Fine Arts Center on May 9 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $5.00
