“During the past two years the community has demonstrated its strong commitment to higher education in Southern Maryland by supporting the College of Southern Maryland’s Campaign for the Next 50 Years. Our goal was to raise $5 million, and we exceeded that goal by raising more than $7.7 million in cash, pledges and grants to support key college initiatives, scholarships and programs critical to preparing CSM students to enter and succeed in college and in the Southern Maryland workforce.”

The funds raised help CSM address community and workforce needs and issues such as:- Establishing an Institute for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (ISTEM)
