Julie Sickle - Fleet Training for Constellation Energy
Julie A. Sickle is the Fleet Training Manager for Constellation Energy Nuclear Group, LLCSM (CENGSM).
Julie has 25 years of experience in the nuclear industry. Julie began her career as an engineer and has since held positions of increasing responsibility at Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant and at CENG's headquarters in Baltimore, Md. While at Calvert Cliffs, Julie was an integral member of the leadership team in Maintenance, Work Management and Training. Her responsibilities included managing and supporting the two operating reactors, development of station personnel and strategic planning. Currently she is responsible for maintaining accreditation renewal for Operation's and Technical Training Programs for 5 nuclear power stations.
Julie earned her bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Maryland and she earned her Master's degree in Education from the College of Notre Dame. Julie is an active leader in her community as the member of the Board of Trustees for the College of Southern Maryland and an active supporter of End Hunger in Calvert County. Julie has previously served on the United Way of Calvert County Board of Directors, the Calvert County Success by 6 Advisory Council and the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center Board of Directors. She is also a council member of the Institute of Nuclear Power Operation's Training Academy Council.
Julie partners with the CENG Training Managers to develop and maintain adult training programs that ensures the safe, reliable and efficient operations of the nuclear fleet.
Julie and her husband, Bob, reside in Maryland with their two children.
