The Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP) certification is an industry accepted certification for accessing the advanced security knowledge of professionals in protecting the networks with firewall and intrusion detection technology. The certification consist of two exams: Hardening the Infrastructure (HTI) and Network Defense and Countermeasures (NDC).

SCNP certification meets the requirements in the DoD 8570.01-M directive for government employees and contract worker training.

Timeline

The timeline is the approximate amount of time that a student will require to complete the training series.

SCNP Exam

The exam details given below apply to both SCNP and NDC exams and are per exam.

Number of Questions: 60

Minimum passing score: 75%

Time: 90 minutes

Exam Fee: $150 per exam

The Hardening the Infrastructure (HTI) Exam comprises 7 domains, as listed below in order of exam importance:

The Network Defense and Countermeasures (NDC) Exam has 6 Domains, as listed below in order of exam importance:
