Reference Collection: The library's reference collection contains approximately 2,000 books as well as some CD-ROM databases. Included is a growing collection of
law materials including the Annotated Code of Maryland, the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) and the U.S. Code. All reference materials are for use in the library only.
Periodicals: The library's periodicals collection includes approximately
3,000 periodicals in a combination of print, database, and microfilm formats.
Periodicals do not circulate outside of the library.
Audio-Visual Materials: The library's audio-visual collection includes videotapes and CD-ROMs. These
items circulate only to instructors but may be used in the library by others.
Computer Resources: The library has
computer workstations which offer access to the Internet, Microsoft Office
programs, and CSM course software. From these computers, customers can
access periodical databases and other resources.
ID Cards
Student ID cards are distributed at the circulation desk in the library. New ID cards are issued at the beginning of the fall semester for all students enrolled at CSM. In the spring and
summer semesters new ID cards are issued only for new students. Returning students need to come to the library to have their cards updated. If you lose your ID card, you may order a
replacement there. It may take 1 week to get a replacement card.
