For students looking to transfer to a four-year university, CSM is a great place to start. Offering classes at half the cost of a Maryland public university, CSM offers a variety of associate's degree programs and transfer opportunities to a bachelor's degree through partnerships with local colleges and universities. The Leonardtown Campus also offers a dual enrollment program which allows high school students to earn college credit at half the cost while still attending high school.

	print-quality image: 200 dpi   06connections 2496 Since 1990, the Connections Literary series has held reading featuring national award-winning contemporary writers, poets and artists such as George Evans (above) who share their work and time with residents of Southern Maryland. All readings begin at 7:30 p.m. The cost is $2 general admission. Tickets are available the night of each reading.
