The Washington Ballet To Perform ‘Rite of Spring’

The Washington Ballet will preview its upcoming world premiere of “Rite of Spring,” at 2 and 7 p.m., Feb. 19, at the College of Southern Maryland, La Plata Campus, Fine Arts Center Theater.  Featured will be dancers Michele Jimenez and Luis Torres, in a contemporary interpretation by choreographer Trey McIntyre. The program will include Balanchine’s interpretation of Stravinsky’s “Violin Concerto” and Wheeldon’s “There Where She Loved.”
