The Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations ("Maryland Nonprofits") was established in 1992 as a result of a comprehensive statewide organizing effort in the nonprofit and philanthropic community involving hundreds of nonprofit executives and volunteer leaders. Today, they are one of the largest and most successful nonprofit associations in the United States with more than 1,400 nonprofit organization members, 300 associate members, and 23 staff to serve them from two locations (Baltimore and Silver Spring).
The Nonprofit Institute is pleased to let nonprofits in the region know of other locally available educational and training resources. The Charles County Public Library is one such resource.
