CSM Continuing Education Tuition Payment Plan

College of Southern Maryland is pleased to offer the FACTS monthly payment plan to enable you to more easily afford your education expenses. FACTS gives you a convenient, interest-free way to budget education expenses. Instead of having to pay tuition at the beginning of each semester or going into debt, you may budget tuition and fees for four (4) months for the Fall and Spring semesters and up to two (2) months for the Summer semester. Because FACTS is not a loan program, there is no debt, no credit search, and no interest or finance charges assessed on the unpaid balance. The non-refundable enrollment fee is $50.00.

The cost to budget with FACTS is so affordable because payments are made using automatic transactions from your financial institution or credit card. You save the time and expense of writing and mailing checks. The automatic payment helps you budget tuition conveniently while ensuring the college receives dependable and consistent tuition payments.

If you add or drop a class that changes your student account balance after you have enrolled in the CSM Payment Plan, please notify the Bursar's office in writing in order to adjust your payment plan.

General Information

• To be eligible, your total charges for tuition and fees must total $300 or more (excluding before or after care).
• You must have a valid CSM Student ID number to enroll in the CSM Tuition Payment Plan.
• By enrolling in the CSM Tuition Payment Plan, you allow your financial institution to make payments for tuition and fees from your checking, savings, or credit card account.
• CSM will provide you with the tuition amount and other fees that may be budgeted.
• Any applicable scholarships and financial aid awards are verified and reflected in the payment amount.
• If a payment is returned, you will be assessed a $30 FACTS return payment fee, and a $25 return payment fee for each returned payment attempt.
• If you add or drop a class, or receive any type of financial aid that changes your student account balance after you have enrolled in the CSM Payment Plan, please notify the Bursar's office in writing in order to adjust your payment plan.
