Cohorts

What are Cohorts?

A cohort is a group of students that progress through all of the Weekend College cluster of courses together.

Cohorts are limited to 20 students. Students develop learning relationships with other students in their cohorts, and often provide peer support and encouragement while completing the program.

Locations

All cohorts are currently formed at the La Plata campus, and take all classes there.

Schedule

All cohorts currently begin the first cluster of courses in September, during the Fall Semester. The schedule for course clusters is as follows:

Year 1	Fall Semester	Cluster 1
	Spring Semester	Cluster 2

Year 2	Fall Semester	Cluster 3
	Spring Semester	Cluster 4

Year 3	Fall Semester	Cluster 5
	Spring Semester	Cluster 6

Summer semester clusters are not available. However, students who wish to complete the entire program of studies in a shorter period of time may choose to complete the Cluster 6 courses during a Summer semester.
