Accessing WebCT
All Weekend College courses are Web-Hybrid courses that use WebCT.
You will be introduced to WebCT at the Weekend College Orientation. You will review how to login, access your coursework, and receive "Tips for Success."
To access WebCT, your computer must meet the technical requirements for online courses. Some of these include:
- Windows or Macintosh Operating System
- An approved browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, and more)
- Java enabled
- Javascript enabled
- Cookies enabled
- Pop-up blocker for WebCT disabled
- Broadband access recommended, but not required
Most newer computers will access WebCT without problem. Some networks with advanced firewalls, such as those in work offices, may prohibit the use of WebCT.

On Campus Computer Labs
CSM offers computer labs at all of its campuses for use by students. WebCT is accessbile from all CSM computer labs.
