Did you know our Lead Coordinator at the La Plata campus was a Kid' and Teen College student, became a counselor, then an assistant coordinator, a teacher of our courses and then a coordinator.  That is dedication to our program.  Thank you to Sarah Massie for all your hard work.

The following is a class that MAY be offered. To see if this class is among our current offerings, please see our schedule of classes.

AHA Healthcare Provider Skills Demonstration

Learn CPR at home; demonstrate your skills at the college. After receiving a certificate that documents successful completion of the American Heart Association on-line course, make an appointment with the college to demonstrate: 1) relief of foreign body airway obstruction; 2) rescue breathing and CPR for victims of all ages; 3) and the use of the bag valve mask and automated external defibrillator (AED).  Health care providers and professionals whose jobs require CPR as a condition of employment are encouraged to use this time saving method of becoming certified in AHA CPR for HCP. A successful demonstration of skills will earn an AHA card that is current for 2 years.
