La Plata Campus, ST Building

Science and Technology Classroom Building

Chemistry, microbiology, electronics, physics, and microcomputer laboratories can all be found in the Science and Technology Classroom Building (ST).

The Information Management Team Office, located in this building, manages the college's information and database management systems. Also located in this building is the Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Department, and the Technical Studies Department.

ST Building Renovation Update

CSM is committed to meeting the region’s work force needs in the technology and science fields. As part of that commitment, CSM is renovating the ST Building on the La Plata Campus.

The construction project will add a second story and nearly 38,000 square feet of space to the existing building. Built in 1969, the U-shaped ST Building covers 22,500 square feet. Renovations will provide a total of 60,340 square feet, including laboratories for chemistry, microbiology, electronics, physics, and microcomputers, along with office space.
