Are you ready to engage in an engineering and robotic challenge? Teams will engage in nine robotic and six engineering challenges and a research project. Construct a robot using Lego's NXT robotics kit and develop engineering and software programming to complete specific missions. Engineering challenges may include two-dimensional kinematics, electronics, ballistics, rocketry, egg drop contest, and water balloon canons. Develop an original engineering concept and present a 5 minute proposal. Students must have taken a Lego Minds Storm Robotics class or belong to a Lego Robotics club. This class is designed for students between the ages of 11 - 14 years of age.
