If you loved Computer Robot Design for Kids, you'll want to join us for the Advanced Computer course! We add new capabilities to the NXT Mindstorms Robotic Kit and computer software that you learned to use earlier. We move on to compete in teams to solve the types of robot design and programming challenges that are featured in international robotic contests. Learn how to combine two touch sensors and a light sensor in your robotic design while collecting data in a team environment. Students learn to create their own programs, problem solving as they go. The exploration of training and employment opportunities of interest to the robot design enthusiast are discussed. Prerequisite: Computer Robots for Kids.
