Explore and build robots. Participate in the exciting adventures of two LEGO astronauts who have crash-landed on an alien planet and must learn to communicate with aliens! Using a story line format, the two astronauts guide students through activities to help them grasp how computer technology, mathematics, and science are used to resolve difficult challenges. In groups, use Lego and an RCX programmable brick to build a RoboRover, RoboGrabber, and/or RoboAlien. Using a computer and an infrared transmitter, students program their robots to meet various challenges. Bring along your enthusiasm and imagination -- have a blast with robotics fun!
