Effective supervision requires many specific skills -- planning, giving instructions, and assessing performance to name a few. This training helps you develop the fundamental skills that you need to be an effective supervisor. The training prepares you to deal with team members on a day-to-day basis and develop performance standards that are based on behavior rather than personalities. Other topics include listening skills, motivating employees, and solving problems. Textbook required.
