This course is designed for circuit court mediators requiring continuing education as mandated by the state of Maryland. The program will include advanced mediation and control techniques when dealing with high conflict situations. Topics to be addressed are: impasse, emotional outbreaks during sessions, temperament, advanced control techniques, and keeping the parties focused on problem solving. Textbook required.
