This course is designed for the beginning and the experienced investor. Instruction will focus on how to establish and achieve investment goals. Topics include: understanding stocks, bonds, and mutual funds; establishing investment goals; developing investment strategies; understanding the 2003 Tax Act, new Roth IRA and changes to traditional IRAs, and new capital gains tax rates; locating sources of investment information; and understanding investment tax tips.
