Description:

Newly promotoed supervisors are suddenly faced with the challenge of directing others to accomplish goals. The Supervisor Development Program provides a modern-day prospective on the fundamental skills needed to ease the transition from team member to supervisor. Supervisors will develop coaching, negotiation, and communication strategies, techniques, and behaviors to successfully manage human resources in a diverse workforce. Whether you are a newly appointed supervisor or a supervisor without formal training, you will learn methods to increase work output, quality, and performance. Textbook required.
