Description:
The course covers the principles, procedures, rules, regulations and organization of federal human resources management. Participants will be able to identify, explain and discuss the merit system principles, major personnel laws and the personnel organizations of the federal government, including position classifications and pay administration convepts. Other topics include: performance appraisal, recognition programs, terminations, and adverse action procedures. Textbook required.
