This workshop will meet the Office of Child Care pre-service requirements for family child care providers in the core of knowledge area of professionalism, effective 1 July 2008. Come and join us to explore and understand the importance of specific concepts and practices that may lay the foundation for a successful program. Topics will include: supervision, abuse and neglect, appropriate guidance, record keeping, marketing, contracts, and policies and procedures handbooks. Four core of knowledge hours will be awarded to the successful participant. This module will also meet the yearly requirements for all providers needing continuing clock hours.
