Description:
In this introduction to macroeconomics, students examine the scarcity of resources; the circular flow of businesses, households, and government; supply and demand; the private and public sectors; gross domestic product; unemployment and inflation; and fiscal and monetary policies for correcting the economy. Also covered are the successes and problems of some recent economic policies. Basic language and algebra skills are presumed, used, and evaluated.
