Description:
Students learn the theory and practice of caring for infants and toddlers in a group setting. Information is aimed at prospective care givers in child care center programs. Topics include: the significance of the early years, care and protection of infants and toddlers in groups, socio-physical environment of group care setting, importance of care giver to infant development, and administrative aspects of infant-toddler programs. Basic language skills are presumed, used and evaluated.
