Geometric Applications and Tolerance Stacks

Description:

This advanced level tolerancing training will provide information on how to properly apply geometric tolerancing to parts and assemblies. Topics covered include: how to perform mechanical tolerance stack and analysis on linear and axial assemblies; and, applying geometric tolerancing to drawings of mating parts and assemblies. Stack exercises include examples of form, orientation, profile and position tolerances along with datum modifiers at RFS and MMC. With the use of physical models and animated computer graphics, case studies and hands-on exercises, participants will practice and test their skills. It is highly recommended that the participants successfully complete the Geometric Tolerancing Fundamentals course before attending this training. Textbook required.
