Augmenting EMS-1400, this course introduces the emergency care skills that completes the foundation for EMT-I and -P practice. Focusing on patient assessment and airway management, the following topics are addressed: history taking, physical examination, patient assessment, clinical decision-making, EMS communications, documentation, airway management, and ventilation.
