Trauma Management I

Description:

This course addresses the care of selected emergency medical conditions caused by trauma, the systems of trauma care, and the mechanisms of injury. Students learn to integrate the pathophysiological principles and assessment findings to formulate a field impression and implement a treatment plan for patients suffering from hemorrhage, shock, burns, and thoracic injuries.
