Description:
This course provides the knowledge and skills necessaary to recognize infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest, strategies to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest, as well as the skills needed to resuscitate and stabilize pediatric patients experiencing respiratory failure, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest. To successfully complete this course, students must meet the American Heart Association standards for PALS Provider certification.
