Composition and Nonfiction Prose

Prerequisites: ENG-1010


Description:

Students read, discuss, analyze, and react to various genres of nonfiction prose, including historical and contemporary essays, newspaper and magazine articles and features, advertising and promotional copy, and scripts. Collaborative and individual writing projects may include essays, reaction papers, summaries and abstracts, advertising copy for print and non-print media, newspaper and magazine articles, press releases, and scripts.
