Hydrology

Description:

Students learn about the occurrence, movement, and behavior of water in the hydrologic cycle. They study infiltration; percolation; overland and channel flow; channel processes and the nature of hydrographs as well as contamination and remediation of water resources. Also included are introductions to the legal environment of water resource management and principles of sampling and monitoring water in the environment.
