Description:
Students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to work as a nursing assistant or a geriatric nursing assistant performing delegated nursing tasks. Coursework is in the classroom and nursing lab. Students completing this course and HTH 1830L, Nursing Assistant: Practice, meet eligibility requirements to become a certified nursing assistant through the Maryland Board of Nursing and/or may take the geriatric nursing competency exam.
