Description:
Certified Nursing Assistants learn to perform those advanced skills that can be delegated by a registered and licensed practical nurse. Skills include maintaining sterile fields, urinary catheter insertion, tube feeding, ostomy care, oral suctioning, and simple sterile dressing changes. Basic data gathering and reporting skills are practiced.
