Description:
Students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to work as a certified nursing assistant or geriatric nursing assistant performing delegated nursing tasks. This course, when accompanied with HTH-8170, Nursing Assistant: Practice, meets eligibility requirements to become a certified nursing assistant through the Maryland Board of Nursing and to take the geriatric nursing assistant competency exams. This course is combined with credit course HTH-1830. Textbook required.
