Description:
Caregivers refresh knowledge and skills that are part of their patient care practice. Registrants review assessment skills needed to note and report physical and cognitive changes with emphasis on characteristics and management of developmental disabilities, sources and management of disruptive behavior to include the effects of medications and combinations of medications, the aging process, seizure disorders to include tonic-clonic and petit mal seizures and a review safety issues to include practices that prevent client injury and promote caregiver safety.
