Description:
Respite workers will review current trends in healthcare to include professional ethics,confidentiality--HIPPA, consents for treatment and information sharing, and client and caregiver safety. Head to toe assessment and noting, reporting and documenting changes using incident reporting will be covered. Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) will be reviewed, with emphasis on infection control and client/caregiver safety.
