Programming Concepts for Engineering

Course Credits: 4
Prerequisites: EGR-1100


Description:

This course is designed specifically to prepare students for EGR-2440. Engineering students learn the fundaments of programming using the C++ Programming Language. Topics include C++ Language syntax, advanced data types, functions, arrays, pointers, strings, classes, data abstractions and structured programming concepts. Students study concepts of Boolean Algebra that is applied to algorithms to be developed in EGR-2440. Independent study is required every week in the micro-computer lab.
