Description:
Students learn Cisco networking fundamentals and network terminology in this first of a four course series of the Cisco Networking Academy Program leading towards Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) designation. Topics covered include Open System Interconnection (OSI) model, Ethernet technologies, network media, basics of TCP/IP, IP addressing, routing fundamentals, Local-Area Networks (LANs), Wide-Area Networks (WANs), network cabling, and cabling tools. Hands-on training is provided in the use of networking software and tools that are required to troubleshoot network problems.
