Explore the terminology, technology, and administration of information security. Stimulate thought, discussion, and solutions to real-life security issues in today's world. Address both the managerial and technical aspects of information systems security. Be involved in a strategic discussion of the subject pertinent to both the business person and the information systems student. Get real-world examples of information systems security used in industry. The course is organized around the 10 knowledge areas of the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification of the ISC2 (International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium), so it is ideal for those interested in beginning to pursue certification or for those responsible for managing and/or implementing security measures in the business world.
