Creating Web Pages

Description:

Create and post your own web site on the Internet in this extensive, hands-on, six-week, online course. This course covers the capabilities of the World Wide Web and the fundamentals of web design. Students will plan the content, structure and layout of a web site, create pages full of formatted text, build links between the pages and to the outside world, add color, backgrounds, graphics, tables, hot buttons and animation. Students will learn critical and timely information on securing the best possible location in search engine listing and powerful no-cost or low-cost web marketing strategies. Students must have experience with Internet and Windows 95/98. Internet access, e-mail, Netscape or Internet Explore Web browser required.
