Description:

Learn how to take your web site to the next level with CGI. With CGI, web sites become fun, interactive, and informative. This course covers how to use CGI and the Perl programming language to work with cookies and forms and to build a searchable database, bulletin board, and e-mail autoresponder. Requirements: Completion of Creating Web Pages course or equivalent experience with HTML. Internet access, e-mail, Netscape or Internet Explorer Web browser. You will also be asked to set up a free Web hosting account with Hypermart, Prohosting, Virtual Ave, or any other hosting service that provides full Perl CGI support so that you can get uploading and testing your programs on the web.
