Getting Organized With Outlook
Course: ITS-5260
Continuing Education Units: 2.40
Description:
Organize your busy life! Find the most efficient ways to send and receive e-mail, forward messages, set up mailing lists, automatically archive old mail, sort and search for messages, track contacts, and print an address/phone list to take with you when you travel. Also, use the Calendar applet to schedule appointments and events, and even publish your schedule to the Web to keep others informed of your availability. Set reminders for appointments so that you're never late, and track tasks, due dates, and progress journals. Equipment Requirements: Windows and MS Outlook 2000. Some Internet Service Providers (ISP), notably AOL and Juno, require you to use their proprietary e-mail instead of Outlook. If you aren't sure whether your ISP will allow you to use the e-mail program of your choice, please call and ask them before enrolling in this course.
Contact J. Tjiputra, Chair, if you have any questions pertaining to this course.
