Preparation for Network+ Certification

Description:

Receive instruction in the basic areas covered by the national exam to award certification in Network+. Study standards and OSI model, protocols, media and architecture, hardware, WANS and remote connectivity, various network operating systems, TCP/IP, troubleshooting, maintaining and upgrading, ensuring integrity and availability, security, and design and implementation. The Network+ certificate is a company-neutral, industry-wide recognition of networking knowledge. It is a logical first step into networking or for pursuing MCSE certification. This course is instructor-led with hands-on lab exercises and CBT supplements for individuals whose goal is to feel confident to take the Network+ certification exam. Knowledge of PCs and the Internet required. This course is combined with credit course ITS-2800. Textbook required.
